Piston liquid pumps: an important process element
The axial piston pump is widely used in the food industry for pumping water, wine, beer wort, yeast sediments, juices, dairy products without solid inclusions. The hydraulic machine is designed in such a way that during transport the liquid forms a uniform flow and the pump itself has no effect on the medium (does not foam, crush or whip fat).
The principle of operation of the piston pump for water and other liquids is based on the reciprocating motion of the working element, which acts similarly to a hydraulic press. The piston, making a translational movement, cuts the air in the working space, due to which the liquid is sucked out of the pipeline. The valve mechanism prevents the fluid from flowing back into the suction channel.
