Peristaltic pump: industrial applications
The loss of even a small volume of fluid is damaging to production, but even more damaging is the leakage of corrosive media into the environment. The decision to buy a peristaltic pump from us will prevent such mismatches and ensure a smooth cycle.
Peristaltic pump is a self-priming unit in which the media is pumped through a flexible hose. The suction process is triggered by the vacuum that occurs when the liquid returns to the cavity. Rotor rollers alternately act on the hose from the outside: the process is similar to squeezing paste out of a tube. This ensures extremely gentle transport of liquids of different temperatures, densities and foreign matter.
The peristaltic pump for viscous liquids is used in many industrial applications:
- Food, where pastes, jams, jams, jams, vegetable and fruit purees need to be transported;
- Chemical – for supplying alkalis and acids, media with suspended solids, etc;
- Pharmacological. The pump pumps medicines in liquid form with varying degrees of viscosity.
The advantage of peristaltic pumps is that the liquid to be delivered only comes into contact with the hose. The manufacture of this part in a material resistant to the medium will minimise contamination of the pump.
The food transfer pump can be used for pumping from a depth below the equipment level and can be operated in reverse mode. Equipped with stainless steel housing parts and fitted with an overload and high-pressure protector increases the service life.
